基于SilverLight的WebGIS系统及其应用研究

摘要:

提出了一种基于SilverLight的WebGIS系统设计方法,并将其应用在精准农业地理信息系统中。为了降低系统数据传输量以及CPU占用率,提高系统的响应时间,在传统的WebGIS系统的基础上引入了微软的Web前端应用程序开发解决方案——SilverLight。基于SilverLight的WebGIS系统由3层结构组成:1)数据层,负责系统数据的存储,以及地图的发布;2)服务器层,配置了多台WebGIS服务器,并通过IIS服务器为客户端提供Web服务;3)客户端层,通过SilverLight和AJAX技术提高系统访问速度,并且支持多个客户端并发访问系统。根据上述系统结构框架,开发了一个精准农业地理信息系统。通过系统性能分析将该系统的性能与传统的WebGIS系统进行了对比,验证了方案的有效性。

Abstract:

This paper presents a method of SilverLight-based the WebGIS system design,and then applies this design in precision agriculture geographic information systems.In order to reduce the data transmission load and CPU utilization,and improve the system response,in this paper,we study on how to combine SilverLight technology and WebGIS together.SilverLight is the solution of the front-end Web application which is developed by Microsoft.The proposed SilverLight-based WebGIS system is made up of a three-tier structure: 1) Data layer,which is responsible for the data storage,as well as map releasing;2) Server layer,which could configure multiple WebGIS servers and IIS server to communicate with clients;3) Client layer,which could enhance system speed and supporting multiple clients concurrently accessing the system through SilverLight and AJAX technology.Based on the proposed system framework,we develop a precision agriculture geographic information systems.Experimental results verify the effectiveness of the proposed system comparing with traditional WebGIS system.
